Our Falconry Services

Disease Prevention

WHAT IS THE RISK?

The main concern with feral pigeons is the potential risk of the transmission of Avian Tuberculosis and other pathogens such as psittacosis, caused by the inhalation of dried particles of feral pigeon Guano usually circulated via open windows where pigeons are roosting or in the air conditioning system.

OUR SOLUTION

Falconry is the most natural and historic method of disease prevention.

Our services mitigate the exponential threat feral pigeons and gulls pose to all working sectors: from healthcare settings, to industrial, hospitality, tourism and leisure, and agriculture. We pride ourselves on our environmental values and conscientious approach, whilst always ensuring value for money.

GULLS, PIGEONS & STARLINGS

Pigeons, gulls & starlings can pose manifold issues in urban environments, roosting in these spaces creating environmental, health & safety hazards and causing costly damages. By implementing a range of expertise such as Falconry, Trapping & Proofing, we can significantly reduce expenses on builing maintenance with the application of falconry, acting as a natural deterrent to the pigeons

With our bespoke services, the effect on the local avian pest population is often immediate, with the long term success ensured by a sustained & tailored service on location.

We are fully compliant with the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981

WE CAN REDUCE YOUR BIRD PROBLEM BY UP TO 90%

Our services have been utilised in the urban environment increasingly, working at hospital sites to maintain health & safety and hygiene levels, train stations, Canary Wharf, warehouses, planning & development sites, and film sets to name but a few.

The Bird control measures we employ include proofing techniques such as netting, as well as humane bird trapping in conjunction with the bird of prey programme. With a conscientious and professional approach these methods help to redress some of the current urban bird problems.

EDUCATION

We are dedicated to educating children and the public on the vital role birds of prey play in both wild and captive environments. To achieve this we offer interactive school visits that allow students to experience birds of prey from around the world up close.

Each visit includes dynamic, educational presentations, Q&A sessions, art activities and supervised bird handling. Additionally, we can demonstrate free-flight displays, conducted either indoors or outdoors based on venue suitability and weather conditions. We provide a selection of falconry-related items and resources to support comprehensive learning across the school curriculum.
