ABOUT US

Avian Environmental Consultants are a family business who began wholly because of their love of falcons, hawks, and practising falconry.

We are a specialist company dealing with the manifold problems that birds create in environments as diverse as, the All England Lawn Tennis Club (Wimbledon Tennis Championships), Westminster Abbey, Landfill sites, Industrial areas, Water Companies and have also implemented Peregrine Monitoring Schemes at Barclays, Canary Wharf and Leicester University. We have been providing our specialised services since 1989.

Our aim is to supply Bird control services utilising the most environmentally friendly methods available. One the most effective methods is the application of “Bird of Prey Programme”. This involves the use of specifically trained Falcons & Hawks which are able to be flown in demanding Urban and Industrial environments.

Our use of falcons and hawks as a type of Biological control, stemmed from a love for ornithology and natural history, and  we have been employing these methods in various urban and industrial environments since 1989.

Our experience in this method of utilising trained birds of prey means that we have a highly specialised knowledge of training Hawks and Falcons, making Avian Environmental the ideal environmentally friendly option of bird control.

We pride ourselves on our environmental values and conscientious approach, whilst always ensuring value for money, and we are fully compliant with the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981.

Falconry is one of the oldest reported sports, with records dating back to 2000BC, with various Kings and Queens throughout history enjoying falconry, and it is of great privilege that we can continue this in the modern urban environment.

As well as providing environmentally friendly bird control, we also run a limited number of falconry and hawking days, where you can experience a rare insight into the art of falconry. Educational days and Birds of Prey Displays are also services we provide, and can tailor every aspect to your requirements.

It is important to note that the non-tangible benefits of our Environmentally friendly approach are the “positive PR effects” generated by these green methods. With a conscientious and professional approach these methods help to redress some of the current urban bird problems.

If you have any questions regarding our services please do not hesitate to contact us - we will be more than willing to assist you.
